Hey lovelies, YES I know it's been
AGESSSSS since my last post...I've been so caught up with schoolwork and other
priorities that I just have not had ANY time to post over the last few months.
Anyway, I'm back now with my first ever RECIPE to make up for my absence!! I
know it’s a veryy simple one, but boy, it's delicious, nutritious and so
filling.
This Blueberry Bliss Smoothie is the perfect breakfast idea if you're in a rush or don't feel like eating heavy foods like toast or porridge. The good thing about this smoothie is that the ingredients needed in it are available pretty much all year round, and are as cheap as chips(also you can't even taste the kale or other veggies you might like to put in it)!
INGREDIENTS:
- One handful of
frozen blueberries
- One large
peeled banana
- A splash of
rice milk (almond and coconut milk work just as well!)
NOTE: You can
vary amount of milk you add in order to reach your desired consistency.
- A small
amount of kale or one teaspoon of spirulina
These are all
the base ingredients you will need, HOWEVER you can always add extra little
goodies like chia seeds, acai powder, honey, etc., for a bit of a different
taste.
METHOD
As I mentioned earlier,
this recipe is super simple and easy, so all you have to do is add all of these
ingredients into a blender or Nutribullet, and VOILA, there's your
smoothie!
Hope you guys
enjoy...
Indi xx
