Being vegan

As you may know, I have recently become a vegan. Many people such as my friends and family have been supportive, but have not been able to see why I want to live the kind of lifestyle that I am. However, even though it has been a short time, I am already feeling really good about what I am eating and the minimal impact that it is having on our Earth and animals. 


I now know that whatever I am consuming is healthy, cruelty free, good for me and rarely contains any preservatives or artificial flavours. This definitely makes me feel good about myself and the choices that I am choosing to make. Being vegan, along with regularly exercising, has honestly given me so much energy and I can already feel the difference between the two lifestyles. To anyone who is considering going vegan, I would DEFINITELY recommend it! It is most certainly not extreme (at all) and I feel that I am consuming more iron and protein as a result of going vegan, rather than eating what I used to. Some great vegan recipes will be up on this blog soon!
